Communication from the spirit world is normally delivered through spiritual mediums. These people have the ability to receive and deliver messages from the other side of life. Our own channel was the famous Essex medium, Mr Douglas Arnold, who we all knew affectionately as “Dougie”.
Sadly Dougie passed away in his sleep in June, 1994. He had been grieving the loss of his beloved wife Ivy, who had passed into spirit a nine months earlier. After losing Ivy, Dougie came to stay with my wife and I at our home in Hampshire. He was putting a brave face on his loss but we could see that he was missing Ivy very badly. Daily he would visit the Sanctuary in our home, which he and Hafed had dedicated for us earlier in the year. He would go there to reflect and pray in the stillness. Then one day he came out with a beaming smile. We asked him what had happened and he told us that during his prayers he had pleaded to see Ivy one last time. He confided in us that his faith was being tested and his prayer questioned why his soul mate had been taken from him. In the midst of his angst Jesus himself appeared to Dougie and said, “Do not worry my son for your wife is with me and I have brought her here to speak with you”. At that moment Ivy appeared and they were granted that longed for opportunity to say their proper farewells. Afterwards Dougie felt unworthy but elated by the experience.
Dougie was just a simple working class man who spent his whole life in the service of God. From the age of 5 he was aware of the spirit world. Indeed he saw many visions as a small child. In one vision he was taken to play on a beach with a little boy and girl called Benny and Hilda. When he returned he told his mother about the experience and she was visibly shocked because Benny and Hilda were infact Dougie’s brother and sister who died at childbirth. Dougie of course did not know this, as he was the youngest in the family.
Another vision occurred when Dougie was hospitalised after breaking his arm. A nurse ‘in white’ asked him if he would like to see some little babies. He said he would and almost immediately the ward became full of babies “like baby Jesus”. Just then the ‘nurse’ appeared at his side once more to say that he had been chosen to serve Jesus.
On another occasion Dougie was shown an accident at a local factory. He told his disbelieving family about it, some of whom worked there, only to find that the following day the accident occurred exactly as described.
Many other visions followed but he was naturally very wary of telling people for fear of them not believing him. His room would change as if opening up like a three-dimensional television screen and his spirit teachers would come to talk with him or take him on journeys to strange and wonderful places. He was not afraid of these experiences in the least, indeed he seemed to accept them as second nature.
He had a deep belief in God even in his very tender years although his family were not regular churchgoers. He would even preach to his streetwise friends about how much God loved them and life after death. Some would take him home so he could tell their parents! By his own admission Dougie was a bit of a dunce academically and could barely read and write when he left school at the age of 15. The messages, which were later to come through him, were so deep, philosophical and wise that it was almost proof in itself that they came from Spirit.
His first job was as a baker’s assistant where by strange coincidence he met Mrs Payne who ran a spiritualist circle. She invited Dougie to join them and he started to develop his mediumship from there. One Christmas, members of the Circle had left out toys for the spirit children to play with. Before too long Dougie felt a tap on his knee and a little voice asking “Mister would you mind winding this toy up for me”. Dougie was so flabbergasted that the spirit child lost patience and took the toy to the person sitting next to him.
During his development phase Dougie was made aware that one of the persons who regularly visited him from spirit was in fact his teacher Hafed. Dougie, being a stranger to foreign sounding names initial thought that the guide was called Hertford, which is a county in England! What Hafed told Dougie was amazing, for this dear soul was the leader of the Three Wise Men, who visited Jesus at his birth and also helped to teach Jesus as a young child. During his time on Earth Hafed lived in Persia where he was a Royal Prince and high priest before being chosen for his important mission which is partly chronicled in the Bible.
For the next four decades Hafed used Dougie as his instrument to preach in spiritual churches and to deliver many important messages from the spirit world. From 1991 to 1994 Hafed gave us the teachings known as A New Set of Values which he has asked us to promote to the world at this crucial time in it’s history. In 1994, just before Dougie passed over to the other side, Hafed told us that our group was to be known as Aquarius Spiritual Centre because this was the time of Aquarius when it was predicted that the children of light were to be born.
Hafed asked two things of us; that we spread the truths he had given us to as many who would listen and that we build a centre for religious education, healing and praise of God. It is sincerely hoped that this website will fulfill this dual objective. None of our group seek to personally profit from this venture; it will be reward enough if we help any souls, who may be lost on their spiritual journey, to find their way back home.
